"Opinion: On June 16, 2021 I prepaid for my mother$0027s cremation. Fast forward on May 26, 2024 she passed away. I contacted the facility and let them know. They took the information and I thought I was done. I had not heard from them so on June 18, 2024 I contacted them and all of a sudden I had all these forms to fill out which I did immediately. According to the contract she should have been cremated within 10 days. On June 20, 2024, I paid them an additional $170.10 to ship the remains. Again, I hear nothing and follow up on July 15, 2024, where I am informed that there was the vital statistics leak and everything is taking longer. They would have to get the doctor$0027s signature to do the death certificate, which I guess also dictates cremating? Sent an email to Rebekah who I sent the forms to and was informed that they contacted her doctor as of July 15, 2024 to put urgency on it. Sent an email on August 9, 2024, no response. Called their number, which is transferred to a calling center it seems, and Cody would forward my information on July 16, 2024. So anyways, this all just seems very odd, not sure who the oversight of this company is, hopefully when I get my mother$0027s remains, they are actually her remains. But I would recommend going elsewhere."

"Opinion: My father passed away two weeks ago. He had prepaid A Direct Cremations for their services. I keep getting sent a bill despite having proof of the contract/payment. They haven$0027t provided a death certificate, and apparently TWO WEEKS LATER he still hasn$0027t been cremated. And don$0027t try to get any answers. Expect 3-6 business months for someone to call you back IF you get called back at all. I$0027m not trying to be a pain but I want my dad$0027s ashes and I need death certificates so his widow (who has terminal cancer) can start getting his pensions!"
