"Opinion: We had to take our sweet 12-year-old Cocker, Lexie to get 100% assurance that she was in distress, and we needed to day goodbye. Lexie had cancer and began belly breathing and panting. The night before at midnight, we had to take her to Blue Pearl in Mt. Pleasant due to a similar issue. We sat and waited 2 hours and never saw the doctor because they deemed her irregular breathing as a non-emergency. We finally just got up and left. We will NEVER use Blue Pearl again. Pathetic service. We had never been to FAH but their hours were perfect for an emergency Saturday appointment. When we arrived, we were immediately taken back to a private room while the doctor, Rebecca Hawk completed an exam. She brought Lexie back and said we were definitely making the right decision. She gave us as much time as we needed to spend Lexie$0027s final minutes together. What a peaceful transition for our sweet girl. Rebecca and the staff were all wonderful, patient and kind."

"Opinion: I visited this place once and sadly it was to say goodbye to one of my fur babies. They were absolutely wonderful and respectful of the whole process, from finding out what was wrong, the decision making process, to saying goodbye and my wishes afterwards. Each person there that night treated him like he was their own. They even let me ramble about him as it was the only thing holding me together that night. The card they sent me after showed how caring this place is. Probably the best place to say goodbye to your furry family. And to the hospital staff from the night of January 5th this year, thank you for caring for my dear RenRen"
