  "Opinion: I am a procrastinator and even though my husband had Alzheimer’s and I knew this day was coming, I had not looked into or planned any final details. I remember being in his room and he had taken a sudden turn for the worse, and I thought if he takes his last breath and they come and ask me, “who do we call for arrangements,”, I absolutely had no idea. I googled on my phone cremations in Lincoln, Nebraska, and started making comparisons. It was overwhelming. The next day I had a friend whose husband recently passed away and she referred me to the Nebraska Cremation Society. I had never heard of them, and wasn’t even sure how it could all work out since they were in Wahoo, Ne. Speaking with them over the phone., they were so reassuring, Professional, and caring that I knew I wanted to go with them. Their cost was so much less than anything else that at times I was wondering what kind of service I would get. I tell you with all sincerity that they were there for me. They explained all the details, took care of paperwork, checked in with me even after their work was done to see that I was OK. They gave us time as a family to be together with the body before they took him and were so sensitive to our needs. Not being located in Lincoln was no disadvantage and we saved money in the long run. I 100%. Recommend them to anyone dealing with the loss of a loved one."

  "Opinion: When I lost my brother at a relatively young age to dementia, it was hard to take. The folks at the Nebraska Cremation Society were compassionate and responsive. Their services were affordable and high quality. I have no hesitation in recommending them to you."
