"We’ve been incredible disappointed in the entire experience with Smart Cremations. We were caught up in the Florida Health Dept data breach but there is no excuse for how poorly they’ve handled our situation from top to bottom. It took 23 days for the return of my husband and even they admitted that this should never have taken so long. I’ve called them nearly daily for information on the cremation and have been run in circles about what was happening. I finally had to have my son call and go to the highest level until I was able to get some real information. Yesterday, after 3 weeks I received his death certificate which had numerous mistakes - wrong social security number, misspelled address and random information that had nothing to do with my husband. I had already paid for my cremation services there but will be getting a refund and moving to another company all together. I can’t put my family through what I have just gone through."
