Mr. Kenny even made us aware of some military benefits that my husband had and he coordinated to have the funeral at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton, GA, also the memorial service at the McKoon Chapel was absolutely beautiful and comforting. "I highly recommend McKoon! They handled my father's cremation and memorial service on 9/15. From our first initial contact with them, the professionalism as well as the compassion shown to us by Glen was amazing. Truthfully, after experiencing funeral services in a different state with my mother in law a few years ago, I went into the initial meeting expecting to be upsold and hearing a sales pitch. That was not the case at all! My family and I never felt that we were trying to be talked into any extravagant extras. A couple of changes had to be made to the service after our initial meeting with Glen due to our officiant having a family emergency, and we never felt like we were burdening them. They were so courteous in dealing with those changes. On the day of the service, they were even willing to help us hold the service a few minutes as we waited for a family member who had been delayed flying in from the West Coast. Every interaction I had with Glen and the rest of the McKoon team was compassionate and patient.
