Verified Family Reviews for Atchison Animal Clinic
"Great Vet Clinic. Fair pricing with Drs and Techs who are genuinely interested in the health of your pet. They keep clear track of vaccinations and other requirements. Have taken my two Huskies and Cats to them for the past 2 1/2 years after three other Vets and I'm not going back."
"Dr. Cierra is a gem! Patient, kind and caring. She listens to you, shares her knowledge with you and ensures the best care for your animal. I cannot thank her and the entire team at Atchison Animal Clinic enough. Nora and Amos are grateful, too! We drive the 40 minutes to this clinic because they’re the best in the surrounding area and we prefer them over local vets."
"The team here is the only reason my dog is alive today. My dog developed sudden vomitting, diarrhea and anorexia. I went to our vet on base at Forr Leavenworth where bloodwork was done. I received a call telling me my dog had extremely elevated liver counts where he assumed she likely had a cancer and he felt I should reconsider further interventions due to cost and consider end of life planning. I had taken my dog to Atchison out of desperation actually before receiving that call because of early hour changes in her symptoms. Atchison with no questions or reservations has me being her immediately in even though they were completely booked. I came in crying asking to spend the moments with my dog thinking the team there would tell us the same information. On the contrary, the phenomenal vet there came in and said he did an ultrasound and saw no evidence of cancer but rather a mucus cyst blocking my dogs outflow tracks from her gallbladder. Although a risky surgery, it’s a curable one. We were immediately sent to a surgical center where she had emergency surgery. Her post op care was handled by the surgical team at the surgery center but they kept in close communication with Atchison who even had worked us in for a last minute post op concern visit. Their kindness, empathy, collaborative practice is the only reason my dog is still alive today. All my pups (I have 3) will be patients here now."
