Verified Family Reviews for Foxboro Animal Hospital
"I've always taken my dogs here. My last dog was seen here his whole life. My review for a year ago and prior would have been 5 stars, however I feel like people should know based on my experience I believe if they need care for their pets they cannot rely on this business in its current state. My elderly dog was well cared for when we could get him in, but they never had availability and was told dogs could only be seen for a sick visit if you are lucky enough to score one of the few available sick appointments by calling nonstop until there phones turn on. Even worse my dog had a medical emergency and was dying. I called them, it was during their business hours, and the person who answered couldn't have cared less. Just said no one was there to help my dog. We had to spend what seemed like an eternity calling vets in the area while my dog was suffering until we finally found one that could see us. Sadly my dog had to be euthanized. Several days later I got an appointment reminder for a visit we had scheduled. I called to let them know we didn't need it anymore so someone else's dog could get care. I let them know what happened and they didn't even care that my dog had passed. They never said sorry or anything. As is right now this place seems heartless and cannot be relied on. Maybe one day it will return to what I knew it to be for over 15 yrs of bringing my dogs there, but right now I can't recommend them."
"We moved to Foxboro 4 years ago and our cat and 4 dogs have always gone to FAH since that time. In addition to the quality of care, FAH has the most caring staff — I truly feel like my animals are loved there. They’ve covered everything for us from annual visits to UTI, ear infections, Heartworm treatment, limping dogs, and end of life care for our cat."
"Can I give less than one star?!? Shame. Shame. Shame. My 14 year old, life long patient, Yorkie, needed urgent care. Their response was 🤷🏻♂️. When it came to end of life comfort, again their response was 🤷🏻♂️. Coco passed peacefully at Bond Vet in Lynnfield (100000% recommend). I would not bring a pet ant to Foxboro Animal Hospital. I hear Wrentham Animal Hospital is also responsive."
