"If your looking for cheap with not great service then this is your place, but if you are looking for a place to make the process less stressful then go somewhere else. The lady kept trying to get us to add services even though we stated a few times that only wanted direct cremation with no add-ons. The ashes were received quickly but the death certificate was another issue. Kathy would tell us one thing but then the information would change sometimes even the same day. She kept blaming the County on why we could not pick up the certificate. One day she called and stated could receive a non-certified copy so could take care of financial business. When arrived she was not there and told the gentlemen that thought was coming to their St. Joe location even though when she spoke to us she never stated that. We conducted all business in Benton Harbor so not sure why Kathy would assume we would go to a different location with another name. We were also told they would contact the Social Security, but I contacted Social Security 21 days after and they had not been notified so I had to handle that piece. This is already a tough time for family members when someone passes and to go though undue stress from additional misinformation and lack of them handling business costed us additional time and money. Would not recommend this place or dealing with Kathy."
