"Went on a Friday afternoon to pick up my father’s remains from Starr Funeral Home. They had closed early, which is completely understandable, the answering service called the workers and had one of them meet us. What isn’t understandable is that the guy came up to the funeral home in PJ pants and a stained-up t-shirt. He answered a phone call while we where standing there and was complaining on the phone that he was not still napping and was having to come into work. Before the funeral home had offered to move my father to his keepsake urns and package up the remaining to be spread. The funeral worker came back into the room with ashes all over his hands and clothes, and all the urns had ashes in their bags. Instead of taking his time with my father’s ashes, he rushed and left ashes all over the box, the keepsake urns, and the bag of remaining ashes was not secure and spilling. I felt like he completely disrespected my father and myself during this."
