"Great vet, easy to work with. They changed their pricing algorithm and now charge by the minute. I asked the vet to please move their vehicle closer to the barn and they refused. Ended up going to the vehicle 4 times and the vet bill was a trip charge, the vaccination and blood work cost plus time ended up being over 200 dollars for the visit.. total bill was well over 400 dollars, almost 500 for 2 Coggins blood draws and 4 rabies shots. I would have pre filled out paperwork, had all the animals tied in the barn, insisted on the vet parking closer. I've never paid so much money for shots and blood work. I don't know what to think about all that. But I certainly would have attempted to do things differently if they're charging 300 dollars an hour. I guess if you're doing a medical exam and procedure I expect that kind of bill.. but for shots, that was hard to swallow."
