Verified Family Reviews for Chicagoland Pet Cremation

"Such kind compassionate people. I had called 2 weeks prior just to get info and Joe was extremely helpful and so sincere. I knew right away I trusted him to provide cremation for our Great Dane. The whole process was seamless and my husband and I felt so relieved that our baby was with a company that truly cared about her. 4 days later we got her ashes back and we felt complete. You can tell everyone who works there really understands what each family is going through and really love animals. Thank you for making the process so much easier."

"We heard about this option after having to send our angel Lola to heaven. Gigi was so genuine and easy to message with and coordinate. They have wonderful options to preserve the memory of your most cherished fur family! Thank you and highly recommend if you need to go through this. The hearts were a special touch."

"The entire experience with Chicagoland Pet Cremation was cathartic. The decision to put my dog down came so suddenly and the varying choices on who would perform the procedure was overwhelming but I’m very glad that the decision I made was partnered with Chicagoland Pet Cremation to finish off the entire process. It was only a few days after my dog was sent out for cremation that I was contacted by Gigi who expressed condolences for my loss but also provided a means to celebrate him post-mortem by offering to use a bit of his ashes in a resin casing shaped in a heart. Despite my heart still being broken, I was thrilled at the idea and she provided several color options to choose from. Since she was already working on my most recent dog, I remembered that I still had ashes from two previous dogs that I stowed away due to the trauma of loss and wanted to celebrate these two as well and so I asked if she could accommodate the ashes of previous pets and she happily agreed. I just had to make a separate drop off for my previous two dogs so she could work on them and I left them in the hands of one her employees, Charlie, and he assured me that their organization was priority and there would be no mix up between the two sets of ashes that I had brought. Before I left, Charlie gave me a glimpse at the finished work of my most recent dog since Gigi had access to his ashes already and I was overcome with happiness and sadness when I saw her work. My handsome boy was returned to me in a different form, but was still a sight to behold. My drive home was filled with tears from the feelings rushing over me again. My exchanges with Gigi were exclusively by phone, but I really wanted to make it a point to thank her in person for providing a service during such a difficult and sensitive time. We agreed on a day and time for me to pick up the ashes and resin hearts. Upon meeting her, I immediately felt a welcoming and warm presence from her that you can only recognize from sincere kindness and was greeted with a hug. After a small introduction between us, she carefully laid the hearts out from each of the three dogs for me to see and I was ecstatic at how beautiful they turned out to be. I wasn’t able to meet her husband, but she shared some small anecdotes about him and I’m certain that the care and tenderness apparent in her work is mirrored in how Joe handled the cremation of my dog. Albeit slightly morbid, at the end of the pick up I jokingly mentioned that if I were to have another dog I would be coming back to them when the time comes. I thank Joe and Gigi from the bottom of my heart for their graciousness and understanding during this loss. Their service is invaluable for the healing process."
